Heating Planner provides free online calculators for planning the heating in a UK home, for homeowners and installers. Our tools cover heat loss, radiator sizing, boiler and heat pump sizing, and heating running costs.

Our calculators are designed to provide accurate results based on widely accepted heating engineering formulas and standards. However:

• Results are for reference and educational purposes only. They are not a heating system design and should not be used as the sole basis for buying or installing equipment.
• A heat pump installation needs a room-by-room heat loss calculation by an MCS-certified installer, and boiler work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
• Actual conditions may differ from idealized models. Factors such as actual insulation levels, air tightness, occupancy and weather affect real-world results.

4. Limitation of Liability
